How to buy tickets to an event

Pick the day, ticket type and quantity. The organizer confirms, you pay and your QR codes live under Trips.

Before buying

  • The listing shows dates, time, duration, the venue on the map, how much has sold and the "Organizer".
  • The price appears as "From $X" when there are several ticket types, or "Free".
  • Some events are "Open entry": no tickets are sold in the app, you can only share it or see more info.
  • If the event already happened, is sold out or is not published, you won't be able to buy.

Choose day, type and quantity

  • Tap "Tickets" in the bottom bar.
  • Under "Choose the day" pick the date (a ticket's price can change by day).
  • Under "Ticket types" choose the one you want; a ticket may not be available on that day.
  • Under "Tickets" set how many. There is a maximum per purchase and the remaining capacity also limits you ("Only N tickets left").

Request and payment

  • Paid events: tap "Request booking". "If the organizer accepts, you'll pay with Wompi in the app (you have 12 h)". Once they accept, tap "Pay now" under Trips.
  • If the organizer turned on automatic ticket acceptance and the event starts in less than 24 hours, the request is accepted instantly and you go straight to payment.
  • Free events: tap "Confirm booking" and the booking is confirmed right away, with no payment.
  • You need to be signed in with a verified identity.

Your tickets (QR)

  • Once the booking is "Confirmed", Trips shows "View my ticket (QR)" or "View my N tickets (QR)".
  • There is one QR per person: swipe to move between tickets ("Ticket 1 of N").
  • The QR activates on the event day; before that it reads "ACTIVATES ON EVENT DAY". The app raises the screen brightness and stores the ticket on your phone, so it works without signal.
  • Once scanned it changes to "ALREADY USED". That scan counts as a verified visit for your Passport and for posting a moment.

Going with other people

  • On the QR screen tap "Send this ticket". A PDF with that person's QR is generated and the share menu opens (WhatsApp, email…).
  • Each ticket is personal and single-use: whoever shows it first gets in. Share it only with the person who will use it.
  • Once used, the send option disappears.

At the door

Free tickets cannot be cancelled or modified from the app. Paid ones follow the event's cancellation policy and the refund arrives as SivarGO Credits.
