Risk activities: terms, safety and certifications

Surf, diving, kayak, boat trips, rappel, paragliding, volcanoes, UTV, MTB, horseback… To publish them you accept provider terms and declare the activity's safety details.

What counts as a risk activity

  • Water: surfing, diving, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboard, boat trips, lake, mangrove and waterfall tours, fishing.
  • Land and air: hiking, volcano treks, rappel, paragliding, horseback riding, UTV, mountain biking, bike and motorcycle tours.
  • The app detects it from the activity type you chose when creating the experience.

What you accept once

What you declare per listing

  • Safety equipment you provide (vests, helmets, harnesses…).
  • Participant requirements (minimum age, swimming ability, fitness).
  • What happens in bad weather and how you notify people.
  • For diving, rappel and paragliding: the guide's certification (photo of the card or diploma).

What the participant accepts

Your responsibility

  • Safety information must be truthful and up to date. If you change equipment, requirements or guide, update it.
  • You may decline a participant who does not meet the declared requirements.
  • If the terms change, the app asks you to accept the new version before you keep publishing.

Clinical health activities and those requiring licenses SivarGO cannot verify are not published as experiences. If unsure about your activity, contact us before creating the listing.
