You always see it before paying
The lines in the breakdown
- Subtotal — The host's price: nights, people, package or tickets, plus extras such as cleaning or an additional guest when they apply.
- SivarGO service fee — 5% of the subtotal for stays, experiences and services; 4% for restaurants and events.
- VAT (13%) on the service fee — The tax on our fee, not on the host's price.
- VAT (13%) on the host's service — Only shown if the host is VAT-registered. That amount is passed on to the host to declare.
- Tourism tax (5%) — Stays only, and only if the host enabled it. Calculated on the lodging.
What comes back if you cancel
- Refunded (per the policy): subtotal, host's VAT and tourism tax.
- Not refunded: the SivarGO service fee and its VAT.
Coupons
If the host cancels, you get 100% of what you paid back in SivarGO Credits, including the service fee.
