Table reservations: how I confirm them, mark arrivals and handle a no-show

Every table requested through SivarGO is confirmed by you within 12 hours. No charge, no deposit: the bill is paid at your venue.

How it works

  • The diner requests a table from your listing (with verified identity): date, time, party size and occasion. They pay nothing through the app; you charge the bill at the venue.
  • You confirm every table. SivarGO never confirms it on its own. You have 12 hours to answer (or until the table time, if sooner); otherwise the request expires as "No answer".
  • Each table takes a 90-minute turn; capacity is counted per turn according to your limits.
  • We notify your phone on every request and again when less than 3 hours are left before it expires.

Where you see them

  • In "Requests" (the host inbox) there is a "Table reservations" section with the pending ones from all your venues.
  • On your food listing, the "Table reservations" row opens the venue list with the "Upcoming" and "History" tabs and the "Waiting for your answer" section.
  • You also get there from the venue calendar and from the card in the chat with the diner. The detail has "View profile", "Message" and "Call".

Confirm, decline and mark arrivals

  • Pending: "Confirm" or "Decline". When you decline we tell the diner to look for another time and the slot frees up instantly.
  • Confirmed: when the party arrives tap "They arrived". That makes their visit verified: they can leave a review and get their Passport stamp.
  • When they finish tap "Finished". If you do not, the table closes on its own 3 hours after the reserved time.
  • Your collaborators can also confirm, seat and close tables.

If they did not show up

  • On the confirmed table tap "No-show" and confirm with "Yes, no-show". Only mark it if they truly did not come.
  • The diner is notified, it is recorded in your history and that person cannot review the visit.
  • A table marked "They arrived" can no longer be switched to "No-show".

Your table limits

  • In the listing editor, under "Reservation and contact", open "Your table limits" (it shows when "Reserve through SivarGO" is on).
  • "People at a time" (capacity per turn), "Largest party" (maximum 20 people) and "Minimum notice" (2 hours by default). Anything you leave blank uses the standard.
  • Reservations are accepted up to 60 days ahead. Time slots come from your opening hours.
  • To close one specific day, block it in the venue calendar: that day offers no slots. Tables already confirmed that day are not cancelled automatically.

The diner can cancel a pending or confirmed table at any time and we notify you instantly. In-app reservations are part of your venue's plan (the first 30 days are free): without a plan they are paused and guests reach you by WhatsApp or phone.
