When it helps
How it works
- Either side opens the booking and taps "Cancel by mutual agreement".
- They propose the credit amount for the guest: it can be more or less than the policy would give.
- The other side receives the proposal and accepts or declines it.
- If accepted, the booking is cancelled and the guest gets that amount in SivarGO Credits.
Differences from a normal cancellation
- It works even after the stay has started; a normal cancellation is blocked once it begins.
- For the host it doesn't count as a host cancellation: it doesn't block their dates or affect their cancellation rate.
- SivarGO's service fee is still not refunded.
If the other side doesn't answer or declines, the booking stays active and the normal rules apply. You can cancel under the usual policy or write to support.
