Opening the scanner
- In Host mode, in the menu tap "Scan tickets" and pick the event (with a single event it opens directly). It shows when you have a published event with paid or free-with-registration tickets.
- Also from your event listing ("Scan tickets" card) or from any confirmed booking of the event.
- The first time, tap "Allow camera". Point the camera at the QR code on the ticket.
What happens when you scan
- There is one QR per person: a booking for 4 carries 4 tickets and each one validates separately. You see the name and photo of the person who booked and "Ticket 2 of 4 · Go ahead", with how many of the group are still outside.
- If the same QR is scanned again, an amber "Already checked in" shows with the time of the first entry: the ticket is never consumed twice.
- Tap "Scan next" to continue.
- When the last person of a booking enters, whoever booked gets their SivarGO Passport stamp.
Error messages
- "Valid ticket, but it only works on the event day" — the QR is accepted from 0:00 on the event day until midnight after its last day (El Salvador time).
- "This ticket belongs to another event", "Expired ticket" or "Invalid QR": it is not a ticket for this event.
- "The booking is not confirmed (unpaid)" — the person requested but never finished paying.

Refunds and cancellations
- If an attendee cancels, they get SivarGO Credits according to the cancellation policy you chose for the event. They cannot cancel on the event day or after.
- If you cancel a single booking, the attendee gets 100% in credits and the usual host-cancellation cost applies.
- You cannot refund a single ticket of a booking; if the group shrinks, the attendee requests a modification and the extra unscanned tickets are removed.
- To cancel the whole event: event listing → "Event settings" → "Cancel event", with a reason of at least 10 characters. Everyone who paid gets 100% in credits, pending requests are declined and the event is unlisted. It cannot be undone.
If the event already sold tickets, do not change the date from the editor: attendees get no notice. Use "Revive" to create the new event on the new date, or tell each attendee in the chat.
