When a change request arrives
- Only on confirmed (already paid) bookings. Before paying, the guest edits their own request with "Modify request" and you see it as a new request.
- They can ask for other dates or time, more or fewer guests or pets. The new price is calculated by the app with your rates; nobody types it by hand.
- An experience, service, table or event can no longer be changed once it started. An ongoing stay can (for example to extend checkout).
- There can only be one pending change request per booking.
Where you see it
- You get a notification and a card shows up in the chat with "Review and respond".
- In "Today", under the "Changes" filter, the task "… requested a change" appears. Tap it to open the booking.
- On the booking you will see "Pending modification request" with before and after, and the money breakdown.
Accept or decline
- Tap "Accept" or "Decline". You have 24 hours; if you do not answer, the change is declined automatically and the booking stays as it was.
- Declining a change does not cancel the booking and has no penalty.
- Before accepting, check your calendar: the app verifies that the new dates are free (including those imported via iCal).

Proposing a change yourself
- On the confirmed booking tap "Modify booking" and select the new dates or guest count. The guest has 24 hours to accept.
- If what you want is to charge something additional (an agreed extra night, a damage), use "Propose an extra payment" from the booking.
While a modification is pending the booking cannot be cancelled, by you or by the guest. Answer it first.
